Journaling can be hard and confusing “what am I supposed to write?” A idea to start with is a Gratitude Journal. A Gratitude journal Is when you write 3 things you were grateful for or thankful for today. Another great way to start journaling is to write exactly what you want, let your mind flow and don’t worry about the structure. Last idea is a Bullet Journal, a bullet journal is calendars, to do list and reflections.
To make journaling a habit it is smart to do it each day at the same time and place to make it apart of your daily routine. To start of it is important to start of small, many just begin with 5 min of journaling for some days and gradually increase the time. When journaling it is one important rule, and that is to not overthink it or try not to, this is the time where the mind can be free.
